Power Update Dec 01, 2012 Model solar cities The Union New and Renewable Energy Ministry is to develop 41 cities, including Chandigarh, Nagpur, Mysore and Gandhinagar, as model solar cities. The list of proposed solar model cities also includes Gandhinagar, Nagpur and Chandigarh. The Ministry has approved the master plans for the 28 cities and the project installations have already started in a few cities, the Ministry said in a release.
