Subhasis Ghosh has the overall responsibility for all aspects of leadership, profitability, strategy and corporate governance at APM Terminals Inland Services for South Asia, including business entities in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. He has been in this role since November 2009.
In his previous role, Ghosh was responsible for developing and managing the overseas investments of Economic Zones World, a Dubai World Company, in Logistics Parks and FTWZ in the Indian subcontinent. He has been responsible for setting up the Warehousing & Distribution Business in Reliance Logistics (RLL) which included a network of over 100 distribution centers for the Reliance Group and Non-Reliance Corporate Customers, in more than 50 towns and cities across India.
During his diversified experience of 30 years, Ghosh has held many senior supply chain management positions in leading organisations, including a Diplomatic Assignment in the Embassy of India, Moscow, as a Logistics Officer in the Indian Air Force and with the Petroleum Business of Reliance Industries. Ghosh is a science graduate from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi and comes with management education from several institutions including the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and IMD, Lausanne.
